On August 30, the group stage action continues at BLAST Open Porto 2026. Four lower bracket matches await the teams, with two matchups featuring Ukrainian players drawing special attention from Ukrainian fans. All series will be played in a Bo3 format.
First on the server will be G2 and NAVI. This clash will be particularly interesting for Ukrainian fans, as r1nkle plays for G2, while w0nderful and b1t play for NAVI. The winner of the match will continue their fight for a playoff spot, while the losing team will be eliminated from the tournament.
G2 started BLAST Open Porto with a victory over Aurora before falling 0-2 to Spirit in the upper bracket. NAVI, in turn, lost to M80 in their opening match, but later defeated paiN to keep their tournament hopes alive.
The second match will feature Aurora and M80.
Following their loss to G2, Aurora managed to defeat DENDELE 2-0. M80, who beat NAVI at the start of the tournament, lost to FURIA in the next match. Now both teams find themselves in the lower bracket, fighting for survival at the event.
Next up is another matchup of major significance for the Ukrainian scene — Inner Circle vs FUT.
The Ukrainian roster of Inner Circle kicked off the tournament with a sensational 2-0 victory over Vitality. The team won Anubis 13-8 and then took Cache in overtime — 16-13.
In the following match, Inner Circle lost 0-2 to MOUZ, giving them another chance to fight for a playoff spot now.
Their opponent will be FUT, which also features two Ukrainian players — cmtry and dem0n. FUT started the tournament with a loss to Legacy, but bounced back to defeat Lynn Vision 2-1.
Thus, the match will serve as a Ukrainian showdown of sorts: a fully Ukrainian roster of Inner Circle on one side, and FUT with two Ukrainian players on the other.
Closing out the matchday will be Vitality vs Legacy.
Vitality, following their sensational loss to Inner Circle, managed to knock out 9z with a 2-0 victory. Legacy, who confidently started the tournament with a win over FUT, fell 1-2 to Falcons in the upper bracket.
Now both teams are in the lower bracket, and the winner of this match will take a crucial step toward continuing their playoff push.
