HBO has chosen the actors who will portray Yara and Lev in the third season of the popular TV series The Last of Us.
Michelle Mao, known for her role in Bridgerton, will play Yara. Kieriana Kratter, known for the Disney project Bunk'd and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, will portray Lev, a transgender teenager.
Yara and Lev are siblings who grew up in the religious Seraphite cult. Lev was exiled from the community because of his gender identity, and Yara helped him escape. In the story, they become close allies of Abby Anderson.
The premiere of Season 3 is expected in 2027, and there is a high chance that the third season will be the final one.
