Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima, best known for the Metal Gear and Death Stranding series, and Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn have appeared in a new science-fiction short film. The project was created using generative artificial intelligence technologies in collaboration with the fashion house Prada.
The six-minute film is part of the cultural program for Prada Mode, which will take place in New York from June 3 to June 7. The story follows the cosmic odyssey of two travelers who eventually arrive at the iconic Chelsea Hotel, where the brand’s event will be held.
A teaser released by the director shows that the visual style of the project draws heavy inspiration from the aesthetics of 1950s science-fiction cinema.
