Haldin is one of nine criminals with bounties in Hernand, the first major region of Crimson Desert. He offers the highest reward—30 silver coins.
However, unlike other contracts, capturing Haldin is a bit more complicated, since certain conditions must be met before his wanted poster even appears.
Haldin’s wanted poster will not appear in the game world until you liberate Vilkom Outpost, where he is hiding, from the bandits known as the “Wolf Tracker.”
This outpost is located northeast of the city of Hernand, near the Hills of No Return.
Combat tip: The outpost is heavily guarded by strong berserker enemies and ranged fighters. In the early stages of the game, clearing it head-on can be difficult. To make things easier, try luring small groups of enemies out of the camp and dealing with them one by one.

After clearing Vilkom Outpost, you’ll be able to find Haldin’s wanted poster while exploring the outskirts of Hernand.
It usually appears on a wooden post near Bloomwood Ranch, just above the Nas River marker on the map.

Once you inspect the poster, the quest will be added to your Journal, and a marker will appear on the map pointing directly to the center of Vilkom Outpost.
Fast travel back to the outpost and look for a suspicious dwarf disguised as one of the soldiers.
Sometimes Haldin may slip away unnoticed and won’t be inside the camp itself. If you can’t find him there, search outside the outpost walls—he may be wandering nearby. Keep an eye on your mini-map to spot his icon.
When you find Haldin, he won’t fight back. Instead, he will try to flee.
Quickly chase him down, knock him over, and land a few hits until the prompt appears to tie him up.

All that’s left is to deliver the captured Haldin to the Hernand prison to claim your reward: 30 silver coins and valuable Contribution Points.
Note: Dota 2 has recently received balance patch 7.41a.
