With less than two weeks left until the release of one of the most anticipated games of 2026, Resident Evil Requiem, the horror title is generating massive interest and is widely expected to become a hit. At the same time, the first details about the next major entry in the franchise have already surfaced online.

Well known insider Dusk Golem, who frequently shares information about Capcom’s plans, has revealed that the company has outlined an approximate release window for Resident Evil 10.

According to him, the game is currently expected to launch in 2029, although the release could be pushed back to 2030.

While that may still seem far off, it is worth noting that five years passed between the releases of Resident Evil Village and Requiem. If the insider’s information proves accurate, this would be welcome news for fans, as it would mean a new mainline Resident Evil game could arrive in roughly three years.

As a reminder, Rainbow Six Siege added to the list of disciplines at the Esports Nations Cup.
