A former model who once appeared in a commercial for Metroid: Zero Mission is now a member of the Japanese government. 44-year-old Chisato Morishita currently serves as Parliamentary Vice-Minister of the Environment and is a member of the House of Representatives in Japan.

Back in 2004, long before her political career, she starred in an advertising campaign for the Game Boy Advance title Metroid: Zero Mission. She appeared as Samus Aran, wearing the character’s iconic blue bodysuit.

Before entering politics, Morishita was well known in Japan as a model and TV personality, appearing in television series and films. In 2019, she left the entertainment industry to focus on her political career.

Reminder: A collaboration with the anime Naruto has recently launched in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
