Famous professional player k0nfig shared details about his salary during a special episode of the Bootcamp podcast. In the interview, he revealed that while playing for Astralis, his monthly income was around 175,000 Danish kroner. Although at that time he no longer enjoyed playing, the financial terms were very attractive.
An even more interesting story relates to his move to Complexity. Initially, the team management offered him a salary of $15,000 per month. However, after learning that his teammate blameF was earning twice as much — $30,000 — k0nfig refused to sign the contract until his salary was increased.
At first, Complexity’s director Jason Lake was unhappy with this approach, but after a few days, he agreed to the new terms and sent k0nfig a contract with a monthly salary of $30,000.
