The project is being developed by indie publisher Annapurna Interactive together with Screen Burn, formerly known as No Code, the studio behind Observation and Stories Untold. The game was first announced in autumn 2022, and since then almost no new information has been shared.
Konami has invited fans of the series and horror enthusiasts to tune in to the Silent Hill Transmission broadcast, which will take place on February 13 at 1:00 CET.
The show will feature a detailed look at Silent Hill: Townfall, finally revealing what this new experiment within the iconic franchise will look like.
Many longtime fans remain cautious about deviations from the original formula. This reaction was also evident with the recent release of Silent Hill f. Despite receiving high praise from critics and even winning «Game of the Year» at The Horror Game Awards 2025, a number of players do not consider it a true part of the legendary series.
According to insiders, Silent Hill: Townfall is expected to launch on March 26.
