The esports organization OG Esports has officially announced major changes to its Dota 2 roster ahead of the new competitive season. Following a disappointing performance at The International 2026, as part of the post-tournament reshuffle, three esports athletes have left the team at once: Erin Jasper "Yopaj" Ferrer, Marc Polo Luis "Raven" Fausto, and Timothy "TIMS" Randrup.

Currently, only two players remain on the active roster of the two-time The International champions: captain and support Rolen Andre Gabriel "Skem" Ong, and carry John Anthony "Natsumi-" Vargas. The club's management is expected to announce newcomers shortly, as the start of the first Tier-1 tournament of the new season is just around the corner.

Such drastic roster decisions are the result of a mixed 2025/2026 season, which turned out to be a period of ups and sharp downs for the European organization. At the beginning of the year, OG unexpectedly shifted its focus to Southeast Asia, assembling an all-Filipino roster of well-known local talents. This move initially paid off completely—the team showed its most consistent gameplay in recent years, placing in the top 6 three times in a row. Their peak form was a 3rd-4th place finish at the BLAST Slam VI tournament.

However, their results sharply deteriorated afterward, forcing management to resort to rotations. Nikko "Force" Bilocura was temporarily replaced by Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek, after which Raven stepped into the offlane position to prepare for TI 2026. Although the team successfully qualified in the SEA region, they failed at The International 2026 itself. OG crashed out in the group stage, sharing 14th-15th place.

Despite such a disastrous end to the season, the club's overall strategy remains unchanged. Everything indicates that the organization plans to continue competing in the Asian region and will soon present its updated five-man roster.
