Monte played their second match in Stage 3 of the IEM Cologne Major 2026, competing in the 0–1 bracket against team PV.

The match began on Mirage, picked by Monte, but they lost the map 7–13. They then managed to bounce back on Ancient (13–9), which was selected by their opponents.

The decider was Inferno. Monte immediately took control of the game, winning the first half in a dominant 11–1 fashion. After the side switch, they secured the pistol round and extended their lead to 12–1. PV then managed to string together four consecutive rounds, but in round 18 Monte won a crucial force buy that ultimately sealed the series victory.

With this result, Monte move to a 1–1 record, while PV are now on the brink of elimination at 0–2.

Cologne continues to host the tournament from June 2 to June 21, with a total prize pool of $1.25 million.
