Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk found himself at the center of a scandal during a game of Counter-Strike 2. In a match on the FACEIT platform, a verbal conflict broke out in the chat between him and players from Poland.

During the argument, Mudryk used offensive and provocative remarks, including references with historical allusions. Following this, the Polish players filed a complaint with FACEIT administrators.

After reviewing the incident, the platform decided to suspend Mudryk’s account for 28 days for violating the code of conduct.

It is worth noting that Mudryk has been actively playing CS2 during a forced pause in his football career. At the same time, the situation sparked widespread discussion on social media and criticism directed at the player, as such statements negatively affect the public image of an athlete.

The footballer himself has not publicly commented on the incident so far.

Reminder: k0nfig revealed the size of his salary at Astralis and Complexity.
