The team is aiming to gain additional ranking points that could help them secure a direct slot in the third stage of the Major. If NaVi manage to solidify their position near the top of the rankings, they will be able to avoid the second stage of the tournament and start their run directly from the third stage.
The fight for ranking positions remains extremely tight, so even smaller tournaments can play an important role in the final distribution of slots.
