China has officially become part of the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) partner program for the 2026 season. The organizers have named three clubs that will become permanent participants in the local league.
The partner teams are the most decorated organizations on the Chinese esports scene — Weibo Gaming, JD Gaming, and All Gamers Club. Milk Tea has received a temporary slot thanks to its consistently strong results since mid-2025.
The World Cup will return this year and will take place in Anaheim, USA, in August–September. China, the 2023 runner-up, has already confirmed its participation. Registration for the national team selection committee is currently open.
As a reminder, Legacy have officially signed arT to replace lux.
