Key details of the tournament:
- Dates: April 3–11, 2026 (the group stage begins on April 3).
- Location: Bucharest, Romania.
- Prize Pool: $1,250,000.
- Format: 16 teams. Swiss-system group stage (bo3), playoffs — single elimination (bo3, grand final — bo5).
- Participants: 12 teams have received direct invites based on the global VRS (Valve Ranking System). The remaining four slots will be filled through regional closed qualifiers (one per region).
Despite being an S-tier event, the tournament isn’t considered crucial for most teams. During PGL Bucharest 2026, Valve will distribute invitations to the IEM Cologne Major 2026, which led many top teams to skip this event in favor of more strategic scheduling. Out of the current global top 10, only three teams will attend: FaZe, PARIVISION, and The Mongolz.
