PGL officially announced the tournament in Cluj-Napoca — PGL Cluj-Napoca 2027

PGL Esports has officially confirmed that the Counter-Strike 2 tournament series in Cluj-Napoca will continue at least until 2029.

According to a long-term agreement between PGL and the Mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Emil Boc, PGL Cluj-Napoca 2027 will take place from February 13 to 21, 2027, at the legendary BT Arena.

The total prize pool will be $1,300,000, including:

• $1,000,000 as the base prize pool for players
• $300,000 distributed as Valve Regional Standings (VRS) bonuses

Key qualification dates:

• VRS-based invitations — November 2, 2026
• European Open Qualifier — November 10–13, 2026
• European Closed Qualifier — November 15–18, 2026
