The first season of the PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 (PMGO) has officially entered the Guinness World Records, setting an absolute world record for the number of participants in a mobile team-based discipline. It was confirmed that a total of 1,224,169 players took part in the competition.

The official record verification and presentation of the certificate by representatives of the Guinness World Records took place directly during the main event of the tournament in Indonesia.

The scale of PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 highlights the enormous gap between mobile esports and PC/console competitions in terms of mass participation and engagement. Thanks to the low entry barrier and the global accessibility of smartphones, PUBG Mobile managed to bring together more than one million active players within a single tournament season.

As a reminder, Nigma Galaxy has welcomed back Sumail Hassan to its roster after his departure in March.
