Cai “Milkyway” Zijun may return to the professional League of Legends scene after police cleared him in a case involving alleged match-fixing.
The accusations against the 21-year-old player first surfaced earlier this year. It was claimed that during his time with Royal Never Give Up at the Demacia Cup 2024, he had allegedly shared draft and team strategy information with third parties. This information could have been used for betting purposes.
Due to these suspicions, FunPlus Phoenix, the team he was playing for at the time, suspended him from competition while the investigation was ongoing.
Recently, the player released a statement on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, saying that an investigation conducted by the Luonan Police Station in Shanghai found no evidence of his wrongdoing.
According to the official findings, screenshots of conversations circulated by a Weibo user under the nickname Canyon Kkz in August 2025 were deemed to be fabricated or invalid.
The player also stated that he plans to file a lawsuit against those responsible for spreading defamation and misinformation. At the end of his statement, he reassured fans that he is ready to return to top-level esports.
It is worth noting that NAVI finished the first week of the LEC 2026 Spring Split with two wins.
