The RLCS 2026 Boston Major has officially become the most popular event in the history of Rocket League esports. According to Esports Charts, the championship broke the previous record set during the 2022–23 World Championship.
The Boston Major reached a peak viewership of over 624,316 concurrent viewers. The record was set during the grand final between Team Vitality and Gentle Mates, where M8 emerged victorious. The previous record stood at approximately 468,000 viewers.
The primary driver of success was the English-speaking audience, though Arabic and French broadcasts also performed strongly, each surpassing 100,000 concurrent viewers.
A significant surge in viewership (over 700%) was recorded on TikTok, fueled by the introduction of in-game reward systems.
