Esports organization The MongolZ has officially announced the benching of their newest signings, Zolbayar "tikuak" Chimedtseren and Dugarsuren "DarkMeister" Ireedui. This decision brings an end to the duo's two-month stint on the active roster.
The roster changes follow a series of disappointing performances by the Mongolian squad. The team placed 9-16th at the EWC, followed by a last-place exit at FISSURE Playground 3. It is worth noting that during the latter event, the team played with a forced stand-in, as Anarbileg "cobrazera" Uuganbayar stepped in for Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold.
During their time on the starting lineup, tikuak and DarkMeister played a total of nine matches with the team. Both players struggled against higher-caliber opposition, finishing their tenure with average ratings of 0.91 and 0.92, respectively.
The MongolZ now have just over a month to finalize their roster and return to peak form. The team's next tournament is expected to be PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, scheduled for the second half of October.
