Analytics company Esports Charts has published a top-10 ranking of countries by total esports prize money awarded in 2025. As expected, Saudi Arabia claimed first place, largely due to hosting the Esports World Cup 2025.

China ranked second, continuing to demonstrate the strength of its mature, publisher-driven ecosystem. Prize pools there were formed primarily through domestic leagues rather than international open tournaments.

The United States rounded out the top three, reaching such a high position thanks to a diversified competitive structure that includes franchised leagues, open circuits, and publisher-backed championships. The largest contributions came from titles such as Rainbow Six, Counter-Strike, Dota 2, and fighting games.

As a reminder, Control Resonant will feature an open-ended structure, but without a traditional open world.
