The Hidden Ruins of the Quarry is a secret underground chamber in Karin Quarry. It becomes accessible after players remove the large stone pillar blocking the entrance during the Roberts House faction quest Stolen Quarry.

You can enter the ruins as early as Chapter 2, but you’ll only be able to solve the puzzle in Chapter 4, once you obtain the Kuku Pot and unlock the ability Focused Force Palm.

Requirements to Solve the Puzzle

To solve the puzzle, you need to break a wall in the underground chamber using Focused Force Palm, then use the Kuku Pot to seal an object. If you don’t have these abilities yet, return here later during Chapter 4 of the main story.

How to Get the Kuku Pot

The Kuku Pot is unlocked during the story quest Kilnden Workshop at the very beginning of Chapter 4. After repairing the workshop, Grimnir will craft the Kuku Pot for you for free, and his assistant will show you how it works.

How to Get Focused Force Palm

This ability can be learned by observing a ghost on the road connecting Scholastone to the rest of Hernand, west of Fort Perwin. The ghost appears during the Chapter 4 quest Scholastone.

While following the main road, you’ll encounter a blockage. Observe the ghostly figure in front of it to learn the skill. It is impossible to miss—you can return to this location at any time to obtain the ability.

How to Solve the Hidden Ruins of the Quarry Puzzle

  • Descend into the Hidden Ruins by jumping into the hole in the center of Karin Quarry.
  • Move deeper into the underground chamber until you see a glowing blue turret that fires explosive projectiles.
  • Use Axiom Force on the turret to disable it. Then use Axiom Force again and store the remains in the Kuku Pot to obtain Power Core – Casket of Illusions.
  • Face the wall opposite the turret. Enter Focus mode and hold Force Palm to switch into Focused Force Palm.
  • Aim at the golden circle in the center of the wall and release to destroy it.
  • Use Axiom Force on the Abyss Cell powering the wall and seal it in the Kuku Pot.
  • Disable two more turrets in the next room using Axiom Force and seal their remains in the Kuku Pot. You will receive:
    • Power Core – Spire of Defiance
    • Power Core – Crown of Shadows
  • Once the path is clear, use Axiom Force on the floating teleport device in the center of the room to obtain the Abyss Transporter.

How to Use the Abyss Transporter

The Abyss Transporter is used to complete unfinished teleportation points (Abyss Nexus). In Pywel, there are only two such incomplete points:

  • At the Howling Hill camp, near the house you can decorate
  • In Pailune, near the camp you set up after moving there

To use the Abyss Transporter, take it out of the Kuku Pot near an Abyss Nexus. Using Axiom Force, position it above the designated spot (the correct position will glow). Then jump on top of it and use Force Palm to install the transporter.

Reminder: Wildcard and M80 reached the tournament finals without playing a single map.
