During the recent State of Play presentation, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Santa Monica Studio surprised God of War fans with two major announcements: a full remake of the original trilogy and the release of a brand-new 2D action game set in the same universe.
God of War: Sons of Sparta is an entirely new 2D action-platformer that is now available on the PlayStation Store. The game’s story focuses on the youth of Kratos and his brother Deimos, depicting their brutal training during the Spartan agoge.
Meanwhile, the God of War Trilogy Remake is currently in the early stages of development. Only the project’s logo was shown during the presentation. T. C. Carson, who originally portrayed Kratos, is involved in the remake.
Earlier, it was announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be coming to PC next month.
