Sony’s latest financial report revealed that the company’s total revenue from selling its games on other platforms amounts to at least $2.37 billion.

This figure was accumulated over the period from the first quarter of the 2022 fiscal year (Q1 FY22) to the third quarter of the 2025 fiscal year (Q3 FY25), which includes the most recent holiday season.

Releasing games on PC has proven to be very successful for Sony. It has created an additional source of steady income from sales of older hits that remain relevant for a long time.

PC remains the top priority platform for porting the PS5 library. Sony uses a competitor’s console as a “tertiary home” only for certain types of games, primarily live-service projects with microtransactions.

As a reminder, EWC has published details of the Fortnite Reload Elite Series.
