On the morning of March 23, an explosion of an unknown device occurred near an apartment building in the city of Bucha, Ukraine. After police officers and emergency responders arrived at the scene, another unidentified device exploded nearby, injuring two police officers. Both were hospitalized.

Later, the National Police reported that a suspect had been detained. He is a 21-year-old local resident. According to investigators, the suspect received an offer from an acquaintance to carry out two explosions, for which he was promised 25,000 hryvnias for each. The acquaintance allegedly acted as a handler and helped him prepare the explosive device.

According to NV sources in law enforcement, the suspect may have been recruited through the video game World of Tanks. After some time, the new acquaintance allegedly began blackmailing the young man, claiming that he knew the location of his mother and was supposedly monitoring her with a drone.
He was told that in order for her to stay alive, he had to plant the explosives.

Reminder: HBO has cast actors for Yara and Lev in Season 3 of The Last of Us.
