The roster of WWE 2K26 has received one of its most unexpected additions yet. The developers have added Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick as a playable character in the wrestling simulation game.

Zelnick has been given an overall rating of 77, a score typically reserved for managers and non-wrestling personalities. The most distinctive feature of the character is his unique entrance, which is accompanied by the legendary Frank Sinatra song “My Way.”

The decision to include the publishing executive as part of the game's DLC surprised many players. A number of fans expressed disappointment, arguing that the developers prioritized the company’s CEO over real wrestling stars who are still absent from the roster, such as Paige.

In an interview with IGN, Zelnick commented on the future of the WWE 2K franchise. He stated that the team at Visual Concepts is proud of WWE 2K26’s Metacritic scores but believes there is still room for improvement. According to him, the series could potentially double or even triple in scale if it continues to surprise players with fresh and unexpected content that aligns with the spirit of the brand.

Previously, it was reported that Oleksandr Usyk has been relaxing by playing Counter-Strike 2 following his victory over Rico Verhoeven.
