Tencent Esports announced the signing of a ten-year agreement with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). Under the partnership, the company will become OCA’s technology partner for esports.

The parties stated that the collaboration is intended to “promote the integration of esports and traditional sports” in Asia. Tencent Esports Director Yati Zhang has been appointed as OCA’s Esports Manager and will be responsible for the development of the esports ecosystem in Asia.

The two sides have previously worked together on integrating esports into the 19th Asian Games.

As a reminder, the BLAST Bounty final will be played on the old CS2 patch, while ESL is switching to the new version.
