The MongolZ announced that their coach Erdenedalai 'maaRaa' Bayanbat will not be able to attend two upcoming tournaments: ESL Pro League Season 23 and BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026. These events are scheduled for March 13–15 and March 18–29, 2026, respectively. Despite the coach’s absence on site, he will remain in contact with the team online and continue to support the players remotely.
The reason is currently unknown, but this is clearly not positive news for the team. Because of this, it might be difficult to expect a strong performance from the Mongolian squad. It has also not been announced whether anyone will temporarily replace him as coach.
