FromSoftware has announced the dates for the public network test of its upcoming PvPvE action game The Duskbloods on Nintendo Switch 2. The server test will run from August 21 to August 24, while applications to participate must be submitted by July 22. An active Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required.

The primary objective of the test is to evaluate server stability under heavy player load. The development team will also gather feedback on game balance, core mechanics, and the overall player experience.

The European (CEST) testing schedule is as follows:

  • August 21 from 12:00 PM to 3:59 PM
  • August 22 from 4:00 AM to 7:59 AM and from 8:00 PM to 11:59 PM
  • August 23 from 12:00 PM to 3:59 PM
  • August 24 from 4:00 AM to 7:59 AM

Although The Duskbloods features the signature souls-like combat FromSoftware is known for, the game is built entirely around online multiplayer. Each match assigns players unique objectives that may either align with or oppose the goals of others, while victory conditions are determined at random, making every session play out differently.

The Duskbloods is scheduled to launch in 2026 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
