PGL have published the list of teams that received invites to the tournament in Kazakhstan, which will take place this May. The most interesting part is that some of the invites could have been predicted. At the same time, a major event will be held in Atlanta — IEM Atlanta 2026, where Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, and FaZe Clan have already accepted their invitations. Meanwhile, Team Falcons, Team Spirit, and The MongolZ have not announced their participation in the American event.
Among the teams Ukrainian fans should keep an eye on, Monte and FUT Esports have received invitations.
Another interesting detail is that FUT Esports have currently accepted invites to both tournaments, which are taking place almost simultaneously on different continents. Therefore, they will have to withdraw from one of them. However, ESL usually bans teams that suddenly withdraw from a tournament after accepting an invitation from their next event. PGL has a roughly similar policy, so FUT will most likely have to skip one of their future tournaments as well.
Four additional slots will be given to teams that qualify through the regional qualifiers: Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.
