The Ukrainian Counter-Strike 2 Championship has received Valve Regional Standings (VRS) status — the official ranking system from Valve. This means that starting from the semifinals, the results of the tournament’s matches will directly affect the regional ranking of teams. Participants will be able to earn ranking points that count toward the overall qualification system for other major tournaments, increasing the importance of every game and creating more opportunities for Ukrainian teams.
Valve Regional Standings is a system that forms regional team rankings based on their results in officially recognized tournaments. These rankings are used by tournament operators to determine which teams receive direct invitations to major events. Thanks to the VRS status, the Ukrainian Championship becomes a more significant part of the CS2 competitive ecosystem, while Ukrainian teams gain more chances to prove themselves on the international stage.
