At the end of February this actually happened. A 13-year-old streamer from Canada, Cdee2neat, who also appears to have Jamaican heritage, was streaming on Twitch. He gained popularity thanks to a clip where he said that with two gifted subs he could buy eight Jamaican beef patties.

The official Twitch account noticed this surge in popularity and, during one of Cdee2neat’s streams while he was playing Rocket League, gifted him 50 paid subscriptions. The streamer was extremely excited. In addition to the subscriptions, he also received a wave of attention and his follower count grew significantly. However, shortly after that his channel was banned. The reason was a violation of the minimum age policy: Twitch allows streaming from age 13, but minors (13 to 18) require parental supervision or consent, and the platform enforces this strictly.

Cdee2neat responded to the ban on his X account, saying that the ban is temporary for about a month. He is currently streaming on YouTube.
