Ubisoft Extends Partnership with BLAST and Announces 2026 Rainbow Six Major Locations

BLAST and Ubisoft have announced the extension of their global partnership within the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege esports ecosystem through the end of the 2028/29 season. The partnership renewal was revealed during the grand final of the Six Invitational 2026.

At the same time, the locations for the biggest Rainbow Six tournaments in 2026 were confirmed.

2026 Major Events

  • First R6 Major: Salt Lake City, United States — May 8–17, 2026.
  • Second R6 Major: Japan — mid-November 2026.
  • Six Invitational 2027: The flagship event of the season will return to Brazil in February 2027.

Updated Season Structure

The new season will feature a clearer and more unified format:

  • Challenger Series will run in February and March.
  • Season Kickoff: a new stage in April where teams can earn their first qualification points toward the Six Invitational.
  • Regional leagues will be played in two splits (June–July and September–October) between the global Majors.
  • The Esports World Cup (EWC) summer tournament in Riyadh will now become an official part of the competitive season, with its champion receiving a direct invitation to the Six Invitational 2027.

As previously reported, Solid Snake is joining Rainbow Six Siege X.
