Ubisoft is expected to share plenty of announcements in the coming weeks. Many fans are eagerly waiting for updates on Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake and Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. However, Insider Gaming has also pointed to a completely different project.
According to several sources, the French publisher is working on a turn based tactical Rainbow Six title with a top down perspective. The gameplay is said to be heavily inspired by the XCOM series.
Players will assemble squads of different operators, assault buildings, and rescue hostages. The overall playtime is estimated at around 25 to 30 hours, depending on the chosen difficulty and playstyle.
The game is not expected to launch for at least another year or two. Ubisoft plans to release the title on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, with a possible version for Switch 2 also being considered.
