After several years of silence regarding the anime adaptation of Genshin Impact, Japanese animation studio Ufotable has confirmed that the project is still in development.
In a promotional video published on YouTube, Ufotable showcased its upcoming projects for 2026 and beyond. The video included a brief glimpse of the anime based on Genshin Impact, which is listed as one of the company’s “upcoming projects.”
The short teaser features the main protagonists of the popular game — Aether and Lumine — reaching out to each other. According to the game’s storyline, the Travelers, who arrived from another world, were separated during their journey to Teyvat, where the main events unfold.
HoYoverse and Ufotable first announced the Genshin Impact anime back in 2022.
As previously reported, it has been an entirely unsuccessful day for NAVI.
