Ukrainian studio Deaf Tone Games has resumed work on the PvP mode for its shooter Glory to the Heroes. This will add the ability to play as Russian forces.
Studio head Serhii Voronov said in a comment to dev.ua that the team never fully abandoned PvP, but only temporarily shifted focus to PvE. According to him, the developers were originally focused on multiplayer gameplay, without which, in their opinion, it is impossible to create a “truly engaging and immersive game.”
“That’s true. A game is прежде всего a media product that people will play. It does not have some pre-encoded primary goal; we are not a propaganda project, we simply recreate real events. And for that, we needed to add the armed forces of the Russian Federation as a selectable faction,” the developer said.

As a reminder, NIP lost their first match at BLAST Open Rotterdam.
