Recently, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Dutch fighter Rico Verhoeven via technical knockout in the 11th round. The Ukrainian successfully defended his WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles.
Now, Usyk has shared a short video on his Telegram channel showing himself playing Counter-Strike 2, captioning the post with the words: “Just relaxing.”
This is not the first time the heavyweight champion has shown his interest in gaming. During preparations for his rematch against Daniel Dubois, Usyk and his team visited a gaming club to play CS2. At the time, he joked:
“We’re working here, and around 4 p.m. we might go play some CS. I like playing on the Terrorist side.”
Usyk has also previously embraced gaming culture by appearing at a press conference with Tyson Fury dressed as Agent 47 from the Hitman video game series.
Previously, it was reported that Illia Zabarnyi began actively grinding FACEIT after winning the UEFA Champions League.
