VALORANT Patch 12.05 Released — New Agent Miks Added

Riot Games have released a major new update for VALORANT — Patch 12.05, marking the start of Act 2 of the 2026 season.

The biggest highlight of the update is the addition of the 30th agent — a controller named Miks, who is from Croatia. More details about his abilities can be found here.

Riot Games also made balance changes to several agents. Key updates include:

• Yoru: Duration of his teleport has been reduced from 30 to 15 seconds. In addition, the number of flash charges has been reduced from two to one.
• Clove: Smoke duration while dead reduced from 14 to 6 seconds. The radius of the Meddle ability has also been reduced from 6 to 4 meters.
• Skye: Her flashes are rechargeable again.
• Sage: Received an improved targeting UI for healing allies.

A new temporary 5v5 mode called Knockout will be added to the game.

Maps Lotus and Fracture will return to the competitive pool, while Abyss and Corrode will be removed. Lotus has also received several geometry changes on A site.
