Early access for Way of the Hunter 2 will begin on March 26. Ahead of the release, the developers have unveiled a new trailer for the sequel to the realistic hunting simulator.
This time the story takes players to the scenic lands of New Laurentia. Players will settle into a cozy hunting lodge surrounded by the wilderness of North America. The region’s forests and mountains are filled with wildlife, including cautious moose, powerful bears, and agile boars.
One of the key additions in the sequel is a loyal four-legged companion. A trained beagle will assist players while tracking prey. The game also features detailed licensed hunting gear and weapons from well-known global brands.
The protagonist’s journey goes beyond simply hunting animals. As the story progresses, players will improve their skills and eventually compete for the right to manage an entire nature reserve. However, they will first need to build relationships with the local community and prove that their presence will benefit the region.
