In the popular extraction shooter ARC Raiders, you will encounter a wide variety of enemies. During each raid, you are threatened not only by other players but also by different types of robots, ranging from small reconnaissance drones to massive combat platforms.

To consistently come out on top in various encounters, you need to know your enemy and their weak points. That’s why we have prepared a brief overview of all enemies in ARC Raiders, including information about their weaknesses to make fighting them easier.

Weapon Choice in ARC Raiders

If you are unsure which weapon to bring into a raid, an assault rifle is the best option. It is effective against drones and other raiders, allowing you to adapt to different situations.

If you prefer long-range combat, DMRs and sniper rifles will be more helpful. This is useful for scouting, but you should also carry a weapon for close combat, such as a shotgun or SMG. These are especially useful in buildings and tight locations where engagements take place at close range.

Basic Enemies

When familiarizing yourself with all enemies in arc raiders, you will find that this specific group includes the foes you will regularly encounter during raids. They still pose a significant threat, but it is entirely possible to defeat them solo using basic weapons.

Wasp

Wasp is one of the most common enemies in the game. Its main danger lies in the high rate of fire of its weapons, and if you encounter several of them at once, they can kill you quite quickly, especially if you are in an open area. The weak point of the Wasp is its engine; you simply need to hit one of the four engines, after which the drone will lose control and crash.

Hornet

Hornet can be considered an upgraded version of the Wasp. These drones attack with electric discharges that not only deal damage but can also disrupt your mobility. Like the Wasp, the Hornet also has vulnerable engines, but in this model only the rear ones are exposed. Therefore, it is best to first take cover and then find an opportunity to destroy the two rear engines, as the front ones are quite heavily protected.

Snitch

Snitch is a reconnaissance drone. Once you enter its line of sight, it can use laser scanning to easily detect you. This drone does not attack, but it should be destroyed as quickly as possible to prevent it from calling reinforcements. Start shooting at its armor plates from below usually, you need to disable two out of its three armored sections to neutralize it.

Fireball

Fireball is a ground-based type of drone. It has high speed, and its main weapon is a flamethrower that quickly burns down your health. When using heavy weapons, a few hits are enough to destroy it. If you are using light ammunition, it is better to wait until it opens its core and only then start shooting, so you don’t waste ammo.

Pop

Pop moves quickly along the ground, and when it gets close to you, it explodes and deals significant damage. It is important to remember that they often appear in groups, and the simultaneous detonation of several of these ARCs can quickly kill you. However, just a few shots from any weapon are enough to destroy it.

Tick

The small spider-like drone in ARC Raiders is called Tick. It is often found inside buildings, and its key traits are high speed and agility. It can latch onto you and deal damage until you shake it off. Hitting it with gunfire is difficult due to its speed, so it is better to fend off Ticks with melee weapons.

Turret

In various rooms, you may notice a blue beam scanning the area. If it touches you, it turns red, this is the Turret’s detection indicator. Once detected, you will be subjected to a barrage of bullets that quickly deal damage. To destroy these turrets, it is best to sneak into an area outside the beam’s reach and quickly eliminate them. Any type of ammunition can handle them, but heavy rounds do it the fastest.

Sentinel

Sentinel is a more powerful and long-range version of the standard Turret, which is why it has significantly more health. It is rarely found in large enclosed spaces and more commonly appears in open areas. To destroy a Sentinel, it is best to use heavy ammunition. For faster elimination, aim at the yellow canisters, as this increases the damage from any weapon.

Shredder

Shredder is a close-range ARC unit with very high damage output. You should do everything possible to prevent it from getting close to you; otherwise, death will be almost instantaneous. Heavy ammunition is recommended against it, and for greater effectiveness, use grenades, but you will need to force the Shredder to stay still.є

Firefly

Many consider Firefly to be a flying version of the Fireball. This ARC also uses fire as its primary weapon, but it has the ability to fly. In enclosed spaces, this enemy is very dangerous, so it is better to engage it in open areas. When fighting a Firefly, you can shoot its core when it opens for an attack, as well as deal damage to its engines.

Comet

Comet are extremely fast ground drones, and you need to react instantly when they appear so they don’t roll into you and deal damage. The ideal tactic against Comet is to engage them from long range using heavy weapons, aiming at the core when the drone prepares to attack.

Large ARCs

Here we have выделили ARCs that are larger than those mentioned earlier. These drones resemble bosses, appear much less frequently, and are significantly harder to defeat. It is best to face these enemies as a team.

Surveyor

If you see a thin blue beam pointing into the sky, it is a sign that a Surveyor is approaching a large spherical enemy that collects data. As soon as it spots you, it will immediately try to escape, making it difficult to destroy.

The best tactic against a Surveyor is to sneak up on it and throw a Snap Blast grenade into its exposed core while it is collecting data. If you fail to do this, be prepared for a long chase. The outer armor pieces of the Surveyor can be collected, so don’t forget about this to avoid losing valuable loot.

Leaper

Leaper is a large ARC that can jump long distances, dealing heavy damage when it lands on you. The best way to counter it is from inside a building with doors, as it won’t be able to damage you with its jump. From cover, use heavy ammunition to shoot its head and legs to break its armor.

Keep in mind that once one of its legs is disabled, the Leaper will lose balance and mobility. Therefore, it is better to focus on a single leg right away to speed up the process of destroying it.

Rocketeer

Rocketeer may resemble a Hornet, but it is much more dangerous due to its rockets. A single hit can instantly destroy both your shield and health, and the blast radius is quite large.

To destroy a Rocketeer, start by breaking the armor plates on its engines using heavy ammunition and grenades. Then begin firing at the exposed parts. You need to destroy several of its engines, and if it is still standing, finish it off by shooting its body.

Wolfpack grenades are useful when fighting a Rocketeer, but make sure it is alone, as the grenade splits into 12 small homing rockets that target the three nearest ARCs.

Vaporizer

Vaporizer is one of the most dangerous enemies in the game. With its laser beam, it deals massive damage, and if you stay under it for too long, you will inevitably die. Therefore, using cover in a fight against it is essential.

To destroy a Vaporizer, use heavy weapons and fire at the core on its lower section. It is also useful to destroy the small engines located on the sides, as this will reduce its speed and flight altitude. Of course, don’t forget about grenades, they are very effective against the Vaporizer, especially when its shield is down.

Bastion

Bastion resembles a crab and constantly roams open areas across different maps. As soon as it spots you, it immediately opens fire with a machine gun that can kill you quite quickly. To successfully counter it, you should engage in areas with plenty of cover.

It is best to attack the Bastion between its firing bursts. Aim at the yellow points on the joints of its legs. After losing one of its legs, the ARC will collapse to the ground. This is the perfect opportunity to move behind it and open fire on the yellow canisters on its back.

Bombardier

Bombardier is similar to the Bastion but has even more lethal attacks. Its main weapon is mortar fire. If you get hit, you will be destroyed. The ARC also has a scout unit called the Spotter, which adjusts its shots. If its yellow laser detects you, it will immediately open fire, so it is best to destroy the Spotter quickly.

To destroy the Bombardier, you should also shoot the yellow points on the joints of its legs to bring it down, then move behind it and destroy the yellow canisters.

Queen

Queen is a massive robot that can only be encountered during the Harvester event. The Queen can easily wipe out an entire group of raiders, so to successfully fight it, you need to team up with multiple groups. It is equipped with deadly lasers and mortar strikes. If you get too close, it can slam the ground or emit an EMP pulse. It also constantly summons ARC reinforcements.

To defeat the Queen, you need to attack the joints of its legs and its head to break its armor, then deal damage to the exposed areas. Heavy weapons are essential here, but even with them, the fight will be long. It is also recommended to carry several Wolfpack grenades, as they will make the fight slightly easier.

Matriarch

Matriarch is another massive ARC. It is armed with homing missiles and also throws flashbang grenades and gas mines. Therefore, you should always stay near cover, and keep your distance from its grenades, as being caught in them can slow you down and make you an easy target. The most dangerous aspect of the Matriarch is its ability to call in reinforcements, including units similar to Bastion and Rocketeer.

The best approach against the Matriarch is to equip a Hullcracker with a large запас of ammunition, as well as Wolfpack grenades. Remember that while its blue shield is active, it will not take damage, so do not waste ammo. Its weak points are the same as other large ARCs, so you should aim at its legs and head.

We hope that in this ARC Raiders enemy guide you found useful information for yourself, and that it will make your raids more successful.
