9-year-old Mike, the creator of the Mighty Mike Plays YouTube channel, allegedly spent around $118,000 from his father’s corporate card over three weeks promoting his Minecraft and Roblox videos.

The incident reportedly started after his father spent $20 on promoting one of Mike’s videos but left the payment details saved without setting any spending limits. The boy allegedly used the card to launch numerous additional advertising campaigns on his own.

David Sarkisyan was later called into his boss’s office and shown the transactions. Following the incident, Mike lost access to his channel, iPad and PlayStation 5, while his father may have to reimburse the alleged losses.

However, the $118,000 figure has not been independently verified. There are no publicly available Google Ads invoices, bank statements or comments from the employer confirming the amount. It is known that three promoted videos accumulated around 690,000 views.

Ironically, the story itself brought the channel its biggest boost. David’s video explaining the incident gained more than one million views in just two days.
