Featuring the women's roster instead of the men's squad directly reflects the storyline of Ted Lasso Season 4, where the main character takes charge of Richmond's women's team. The squad has an overall rating of 3.5 stars and features eight characters from the show, with the remaining roster spots filled by generated players.
AFC Richmond can be found under Women’s Teams > Rest of World. The developers integrated the club and its manager across several game modes:
• Kickoff and Career Mode: The team is accessible directly in exhibition and online matches. In Manager Career, players can select Ted Lasso to manage any team or replace a real club with AFC Richmond in any league.
• Ultimate Team (FUT): Dedicated Objectives are available for players to earn exclusive, untradeable rewards.
• "The Grounds" Mode: In this new social street football playground, Ted Lasso serves as a mentor alongside stars like Kylian Mbappé, Chloe Kelly, and Paulo Dybala.
