In August 2026, the video game industry will welcome Agefield High: Rock the School, a project positioned as a spiritual successor to Rockstar Games' cult classic, Bully. Since an official sequel from the original developers was never released, the new game aims to satisfy fans' expectations and fill this niche.

The game is set in the atmosphere of the 2000s. At the center of the plot is a high school student whose main goal is to win over the girl of his dreams. According to the description on its Steam page, it is a coming-of-age adventure about friendship, love, and rebellion. The developers were inspired by the teen comedies of that era, particularly the American Pie franchise, which guarantees the presence of edgy humor and an authentic soundtrack.

As for the gameplay, Agefield High: Rock the School is geared towards a comfortable playthrough lasting a few hours and offers a straightforward combat system. The creators of the project emphasize that they are not trying to compete with the massive open worlds built by major studios. Instead, they have created a compact, meticulously designed "handcrafted indie town."

The game's official release is scheduled for August 12, 2026. It is expected that the project will properly honor the legacy of Bully's protagonist, Jimmy Hopkins, and provide players with a high-quality nostalgic experience.
