Court proceedings have begun against NAVI CS2 captain Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen. The esports player is accused of aggravated tax fraud in Finland, according to Iltalehti.

The case concerns the period from May 19 to September 22, 2020, when the player was competing for OG.

The plaintiff in the case is the Finnish Tax Administration. According to the tax authorities, the income Virolainen received from his gaming activities should be considered personal income, not the income of the company Aleksib Oy, where it had been taxed as corporate revenue.

The hearing is scheduled for April 2026. If Virolainen is found guilty, he could face a fine or up to two years in prison.

Aleksib declined to comment on the accusations but stated that the case is related to prize money earnings.

Reminder: ENCE disbanded its CS2 roster featuring sdy and will build a Finnish lineup.
