Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares 2026, has arrived with a fresh batch of spooky content. Players can try out weapons such as the Bone Rattler SMG, track down creepy creatures like The Deer Sprite, and even transform into animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Several bosses are also roaming the island, offering valuable rewards to players who defeat them. Here is where to find Freddy, Foxy, Chica, Bonnie, and the other Fortnitemares bosses in Fortnite Override.
Freddy and Foxy spawn at the unnamed Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza location northeast of Nightmare Neighborhood and just south of the Pac-Man island. They usually stand near the stage, although they may wander away if other players approach them first.
Defeating Freddy and Foxy can grant the following rewards:

Chica and Bonnie can spawn at random locations across the Fortnite island. Unlike most bosses, they do not appear on the map with dedicated boss icons, making them more difficult to locate.
Their encounters work much like those involving Freddy and Foxy. Defeating either Chica or Bonnie grants the same set of rewards:

Freddy Krueger can be found in Nightmare Neighborhood. He may appear on the map as a skull icon, but this indicator is not always present.
More often, Freddy disguises himself as an ordinary NPC and becomes hostile when players get too close. Keep an eye on NPC markers while exploring the area, as they may reveal his disguised form.
Defeating Freddy Krueger rewards players with:

Adam Smasher is also back for Fortnitemares and can appear in several locations. He most commonly patrols the area around Geno’s Machine near the center of the island, but he may also spawn at Sunken Shores.
Another possibility is encountering him through a Boss Drop Rift Anomaly, which can appear at a random location.
Players who defeat Adam Smasher can earn the following rewards:
Hush remains available as a Fortnitemares boss, although her spawn locations have changed. Players can now find her at Reality’s Reign and Heatwave Harbor.
Following the latest update, Hush no longer spawns at The Battlewoods, as that location has been replaced by Nightmare Neighborhood.
Like Adam Smasher, Hush can also appear at a random location through a Boss Drop Rift Anomaly.
Defeating Hush grants the following rewards:
More bosses could potentially arrive with the second Fortnitemares update, which was expected on October 15. Check back for further updates on boss locations and rewards.
