Sony has confirmed that an animated film based on Bloodborne is currently in development. The announcement was made during CinemaCon 2026.
The film is planned to carry an R rating, indicating the creators’ intention to preserve the dark tone and brutality of the original game.
Popular content creator Jacksepticeye has signed a deal with Sony and will serve as a producer on the project. Shortly after the announcement, he wrote on Reddit that Bloodborne is his “favorite game of all time.” He assured fans that he will do everything possible to deliver the best adaptation, acknowledging the community’s high expectations and passion.
At the moment, the animation studio responsible for the visual production has not been disclosed. The film’s сюжетне спрямування (story direction) also remains unknown.
