EA and Respawn Entertainment have announced the S-Tier tournament ALGS: 2026 Split 2 Playoffs, which will be the second event of the 2026–2027 championship circuit. The offline competition will take place from October 29 to November 1, 2026, at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, USA. This will mark the first return of the Apex Legends Global Series to North America since 2024.

A total of 40 of the world's best teams will participate in the tournament, competing on PC for a $2,000,000 prize pool, as well as the championship trophy and spots at the ALGS Championship in Sapporo. The tournament winner will receive $600,000 and 3,000 CS Points, the silver medalist — $300,000 (2,700 CS Points), and the bronze medalist — $200,000 (2,520 CS Points). Among the 120 esports athletes at the tournament, the largest number of representatives comes from the USA (36 players, or 30%) and Japan (25 players).

The tournament format is divided into three stages:

  • Group Stage (October 29–30): 40 teams are divided into 4 groups of 10 to play in a round-robin format. Each team will play 3 match series (18 games in total). Based on the points earned, the top 20 teams will advance to the Winners Bracket, and the bottom 20 teams will drop to Round 1 of the Losers Bracket.
  • Bracket Stage (October 31): In the Winners Bracket, the top 10 teams advance to the Finals, while the bottom 10 drop to Round 2 of the Losers Bracket. In the Losers Bracket, the competition follows an elimination format: the top 10 from Round 1 advance to Round 2, and the top 10 teams from Round 2 secure passes to the Finals.
  • Finals (November 1): The 20 finalist teams will compete using the Match Point format. The tournament winner will be the first team to reach 50 points and subsequently secure a 1st-place finish in the next match.
