One of the most successful shooters of recent years has unexpectedly received official Ukrainian language support. Ukrainian localization was added to ARC Raiders with the release of the major Headwinds update version 1.13.0.
The Ukrainian language is already available on PlayStation consoles. On PC via Steam, the localization currently needs to be enabled manually by adding culture=uk or -culture=uk to the launch options.
The news was first shared by Ukrainian gaming blogger OLDboi on X.
«Arc Raiders has received official Ukrainian localization. On consoles it is reportedly already available. On Steam, for now, Ukrainian can be enabled by adding culture=uk or -culture=uk in the game properties» — he wrote.
In addition to localization, the Headwinds 1.13.0 update introduced a new Solo vs Squads mode, which unlocks for players who reach level 40. In this mode, solo players are matched against full squads and receive a 20 percent experience bonus for successful extraction, though the risk of losing loot is significantly higher.
The update also added a new Trophy Display feature. Players can turn in Arc enemy parts to unlock progression stages and earn rewards such as blueprints, raider tokens, and cosmetic items. The final rewards include the Howl emote and 300,000 in-game currency.
The Buried City map received a new weekly variant called Bird City. The location now features nesting birds, loot-filled nests, more ziplines, higher player density, additional flying Arc enemies, and more frequent vertical combat encounters.
The update further added two new epic gear modifiers, seven high-level quests, the ability for friends to join squads during raids, and a revamped three-stage anti-cheat system. Technical improvements include enhanced lighting, audio, voice chat, interface updates, and various bug fixes that improve overall stability.
ARC Raiders update 1.13.0 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series XS.
