The International Esports Federation (IESF) has officially announced that Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, will host the World Esports Championship 2027.
The announcement was made during the signing of the official Host Agreement for the federation's flagship international tournament. The trilateral agreement was signed by representatives of the International Esports Federation (IESF), the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Kazakhstan Esports Federation.
Organizers stated that full details regarding the tournament schedule, competition format, qualification pathways, host venues, and official game titles will be announced over the coming months through IESF's official channels.
