Asus has announced a new special edition of its handheld gaming console to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand. The model, called the ROG Xbox Ally X20, is the first device in the lineup to feature an OLED display, updated controls, and a bundled augmented reality headset.
The handheld stands out with its semi-transparent black chassis and gold-colored internal accents, a design inspired by classic gaming hardware aesthetics.

The anniversary package also includes the exclusive ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 AR glasses. The accessory is built around micro-OLED panels with a 240Hz refresh rate and support for native three-degrees-of-freedom (3DoF) motion tracking.
The glasses are capable of creating the experience of a virtual 171-inch display positioned approximately four meters away from the user, providing an immersive large-screen gaming experience in a portable form factor.
As previously reported, Valve allegedly threatened to remove Rainbow Six Siege from Steam during a pricing dispute with Ubisoft.
