B8 Advance to Stage 2 of the Cologne Major with a Perfect 3-0 Record

Ukrainian esports organization B8 have successfully advanced through the opening stage of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 in CS2. In the decisive match, Oleksii "alex666" Yarmoshchuk’s squad defeated North American side M80 in convincing fashion, securing a 2-0 victory (13:11 on Ancient and 22:20 on Inferno) and confirming their status as one of the tournament favorites with a flawless 3-0 series record.

During Stage 1, the Ukrainian team opened their campaign with a 13:6 win over TYLOO on Mirage. In the second round, B8 faced THUNDERdOWNUNDER and secured another victory, winning 13:11 on Dust2.

The IEM Cologne Major 2026 is taking place from June 2 to June 21 in Cologne, Germany. The tournament features a prize pool of $1.25 million.

Previously, it was reported that Illia Zabarnyi began actively grinding FACEIT after winning the UEFA Champions League.
